Steve...  A Klingon Bird of Prey immediately comes to mind and these guys are almost as fast!  Excellent shot... Mike

Seven all the way! I rated with seven two such mallards today (this one is better, ha)! Must be already on the top photos pages, congratulations Steve!

Another great capture Steve.  I enjoy the contrast between the bird and the background.  And the wingtips.

Great pose, sharp even on the wingtips. I would still crop some off the top, looks to centered vertically to me.

Sharp, colourful and very well defined against the background. I think the central position in the frame works really well, it needs that space around it, and I think that the bird flying "into" the frame as apposed to out of it is far more important and very well executed.

Nice work Steve

Best Wishes!

Nice Pintail shot Steve! I find the Pintail duck as a very attractive, good looking duck. Interesting to see the green color on the wing since I don't see that much when they fly by

Hi Steve! This is an amazing shot. It always am impresses when I can see such detail in a fast moving bird. I see that it was shot at 400 ISO at 1/8000 seconds, but you didn't mention what lens you were using. I am just curious, and maybe a little envious.
