daveinwilton 1 Posted December 16, 2010 A wonderfully creative shot. I do like the lighthouse caught through the old iron ring. However, the tilted horizon and associated lighthouse lean are matters that ought to be corrected in my opinion. It is more forgiving in the mind of a rusted piece of antiquity being out of plumb, than a building. Though better to achieve level prior to exposure, with some loss of material, I found correction in the horizon with a 2 1/2 degree counter-clockwise rotation. Best regards...-Dave Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted December 16, 2010 Love the way you framed the light house in the rusty ring. Agree with above about the horizon. Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted December 17, 2010 This surely looks like Peggy's Cove lighthouse. You have an interesting point of view here, but I find the post to be too dominating. Not to sound negative, but the lighthouse also appears to lean toward the right. You have a lot of stuff competing for attention in this image. I did a few shots of the lighthouse this past summer. One in both color and B&W is in my portfolio in the Maritimes folder. I hope you don't take this negatively. I'm trying to be of help. Thanks. Link to comment
