Someone else just posted one of these flowers and I've never seen one before. You've identified it as a Cactus Flower. Very nice detail in the stamens. Would that other part that looks kind of like an Octopus be considered the 'ovary'???? I should look it up myself. Great detail in the hoverfly as well, they are so small, well done!
