michaellinder 16,612 Posted December 14, 2010 OK, I can accept the role of being last on a long list. I agree with colleagues that the high-key tonality works quite well in this photograph. I also think that the embossed treatment is quite compatible with that level of tonality, therefore rendering moot the question of whether it adversely affects the soft character of the subject's face.Very well done, my friend.........michael Link to comment

johnborg 0 Posted December 16, 2010 Hi Pierre. Very good indeed for a snapshot! This looks like a high key with the added touch of a pencil sketch texture , which I really like. Perhaps the highlights are slightly too bright at the tip of her face, lips and chin. Thus losing detail there. I love the pale colours which seem hand coloured, altough I'm not sure if I'm guessing well! Very nice artistic interpretation and face expression (slight smile). Well done and best regards...JB Link to comment

You have a great imagination and you can do a really great graphical experience for observers. All I can say is that you should keep it this way. fstaples 0 Posted January 18, 2011 You know I'm a beginner but, to me, this is a very, very good post treatment. You've somehow managed to keep the intent of the original photo while making it a work of art! The human quality of the subject remains intact yet you've added so much to the photo! Great work Pierre. Keep 'em coming! Link to comment

jodes1 0 Posted March 12, 2011 intrigued and inspired by digital manipulations, but I must say, this is a simple, beautiful shot. Perhaps you should do more portraits?! the tones, composition, expression are all contributing to the feel of this sweet calm- with a little sexy thrown in. love it. nice work. Link to comment

petr_riedl 0 Posted April 28, 2011 Beautiful work, how write divers colleagues about it eye, I'd rather teeny - weeny added left shadow or grey, one graduation on scales perhaps, perhaps it is intention to line faces wasn't outline I don't know, place the glowing colour beside her faces, bittock how "sublimate" perhaps...but perhaps it be caused by production hereof portrait, otherwise it is amazing predicative work about it as though soul your sees plus eye photographs perfectly, incline deeply before such art.......Krásné dílo, jak píší někteří kolegové o tom oku, já bych spíše malilinko přidal vlevo stínu či šedé, jeden dílek na stupnic asi, možná to je záměr aby linie tváře nebyla konturou nevím,místo té zářící barvy vedle její tváře, trošku jak "přepal" snad...ale asi to je způsobenou výrobou tohoto portrétu, jinak to je úžasné vypovídající dílo o tom že duše Tvá vidí a oko fotografuje perfektně, skláním se hluboce před takovým uměním.......Petr Link to comment
