Killer

mediumformat

Tripod in midday sun. Scanned from negative and cropped. Image taken at DC Police Memorial, created by Augsberger. The guns scared me even while I was taking the photos - they are all real handguns attached to a huge bronze statue.

A better scan from the negative of this closeup of the DC Police

Memorial, shot on tripod about 12" from subject. These are real

handguns that were confiscated by police, made inoperable, and used

to adorn a large sculpture. Any comments welcome.

Nice repeated & related forms but I think the camera would have benefited being more square to the plane of the guns.

Escher-esque! i am troubled by what seems (to my eye) distortion caused by not having the film plane parallel to the plane of the subject... almost like you're looking down and back. I'm also not quite clear on the exact message you're trying to send with this picture, the title doesn't give enough info to me... killers, rotting away? Very interesting shot, though
