As much as I enjoy the clarity and color of the lake water discovering the rainstorm in the background was a nice draw. And Im a sucker for beaver dams!

Incredibly clear water, incredibly crisp and beautifully composed shot. Great job.

Did you use a tripod??

I didn't use a tripod for this shot, but I did apply a small amount of sharpening to the RAW image (as well as increasing the saturation and a bit of dodge & burn to the clouds & water).

Boya Lake is right up on the BC/Yukon border.  It's at the top end of the Stewart-Cassier Highway.
