Experimenting with a blue filter to convey the coldness of winter...

and, believe me, it was cold out there! ;)

What do you think?

Sarah...  Cold and stark, it definitely is.  However, when I see too much added blue I'm reminded of a photo lab I was forced to leave because all my skin tones were pink.  Perhaps a half and half mix between this and your bio photo (which is a tad warm).  Heck, all that to say that I guess I prefer natural ;-).  I am impressed with anyone that can pull off a self portrait, my camera refuses to fire if I'm in front of it.... Sarah, i think u can do a great job, both, behind and in front of a camera. and that filter makes me chill... so, it works. have a good light, whatever it is cold or hot!
