Girl with Balloon

Good capture, engaging smile there, though I do admit I like the cropped version without the balloon, but as mentioned, everyone has a different feeling.

I also like the black and white shot as well, looks good.

wonderful shot - I cant make my mind up on if its the cropped or original shot that is the best - you are in a good place though - you cropped after the shot was taken and not with the camera - so which ever looks better you can do it because the negative has it all - well done - the little girl has a wonderful smile and sweetness and purity about her. 7/6

I prefer the original crop.

 

Really works well with the Ilford film and I do like the detail, especially in the face and the sweater.

 

Overall composition is very good as well.

Hi, I like this picture, the girl looks real nice. So much has been said about the crop! wow.

Just would like to add mine too. A little bit of PS and the boy is gone.

I do like your crop, but I was working under one unstated restriction - the finished print had to fit on standard 8x10 paper (with standard borders that have been cropped from the original scan). Unfortunately, your crop does not fit; I wish it did.
