 This is a very nice photograph...excellent in compositional aspects, beautiful colours and a peaceful atmosphere. We can also imagine this one prints out very well too...

Lovely atmospheric shot, the mist really adds to that summer morning mood, the colour whilst looking quite saturated isn't unpleasantly so, in fact it takes on a painterly look that is very becoming, and already makes me yearn for summer once again.

Such gorgeous looking vegatation in this scene, bright but as stated, not overdone.  The diagonal hillside adds beautifully to the vista with the mist a real plus, showing us one of the other sides of Nature.......Regards

Independent of the fine color work, this is a good example of effective design, converting a landscape into an intimate scenic but still involving many areas of interest. Attractive, very attractive final result. Compliments!

Your comments are very reassuring, since I was a little hesitant to post this.  This was taken on an absolutely beautiful morning, a one in a million, it was very quiet and I was completely surrounded by mist which the sun was just beginning to burn through.  It was difficult to know where to point my camera, it was all beautiful. I stood there in awe, audibly thanking God for what was before me, and yet when I processed my images they all had a colour cast that might be considered a little surreal for some peoples taste.  After reprocessing the images taken that morning I've come to the conclusion that this is as close as I can come to what I actually saw.

Hi Jim. Thanks for your recent comment to one of my shots. This is very beautiful with bright green and yellow colours which dominate the picture. The zig zagging of the hill tops  is nice as well as the mist like effect in the background clearing towards the foreground. The square format, not very usual in landscapes, fits well too. Overall the picture gives the impression of a painting. Well done for a great image. best regards JB
