Your multiple talents never fail to amaze...

Ahhhh Gail your such a romantic, but I must put the alternative verse.

She read again the scribbled words that took her to the brink  

then clicked her fingers loud and sharp to order one last drink.

The mysteries of the stranger now completely in her head 

she sipped her wine in deepest thought and nibbled garlic bread

"I'll play it cool" she told herself and finished off the wine

she checked her watch and told herself "ok I'm doing fine"

Hours passed with a few more drinks and she asked "why me, why me,

why the The Hotel Merdian and why in gay Paries"? 

"One for the road" she told the waiter as he hurried swiftly past

she checked her watch again and gasped "this evenings going fast"!

she staggered to the restroom now and checked her eyes and make -up

she swished cold water on her face and shouted "Wake up Wake Up!"

Back at the table once more composed she read again the note

and contemplated transport means, taxi, plane or boat?

her speech was slurred her mind was fuzzed but that just untill,

she read the flip side of his note.....he'd left his b***dy bill!    : - )      

Well suffice to say Gail your images certainly capture the imagination, and unfortunately my warped humour too.  But that aside I really do like it.

Thankyou for your visit.....the crystal lamp is an old oil lamp and is very pretty, thought I'd try it in the image...and the pearls, well pearls,if you want to do a feminine type image they are always attractive.  I was actually surprised how effective the combination was.  Thankyou Tony for your kind words and stopping by, sincere regards, Gail

This photograph conveys in one glance all of the beauty, intrigue, and romance I've always imagined Paris to have.  It conjures up one of the wonderful scenes in "Casablanca", in which Rick tells Ilsa, "We'll always have Paris."

Your opening story line is quite well written, and it certainly embellishes on the photograph's theme. But, the photograph easily can stand on its own.  It incorporates a beautiful blending of soft colors, and its composition couldn't be better.

I am only using Elements and find that there are so many places where you can push the 'elements'.  It does have many facets of the CS versions or so Scott Kelby says...and smart of them to do a downsized versions for us 'peasants'....can certainly sell a lot of them compared to 1 CS.  But one day I would love to own a Creative Suite.  But I haven't even learned all I can in Elements....so I'll be happy to keep experiementing.  Glad to hear you  found merit in this image Jeff, sincerely, Gail
