waterfalls, rivers and streams Metlako Falls Classic

The classic view of Metlako Falls in the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. I was hoping to catch a little more color in the trees here, but the majority of the leaves have already dropped off in this area. The fog was amazing and every 15 seconds the look and feel of the scene changed.

Nikon D80, 50mm Nikkor 1.8, polarizer
2 exposure blend for dynamic range. 1 and 2 secs at f/11, ISO 100

The framing, colour and detail bring out all the beauty of these falls. It's definitely a good place to be with a camera and the knowledge of how to use it to advantage!
