From a design approach, this has everything anyone could ask for...

The movement of the water provides a sort of "s" through the composition as a country lane might and that keeps us moving back to the subject in a very easy flow...

because the water has been allowed to "move" rather than use a stop action exposure, the subject and it's wonderfully captured droplets POPS and commands our attention in the most zen way possible.

I have no idea how one could control a seed and it's parasol as you have here!  I'll be adding this fine photograph to my list of absolute hands down favorites!

Honestly, I don't think you could have improved a thing...  the warm tone is also fantastic.

Again you you have added another amazing image to this series! The golden reflection on the water is a perfect background for the seedling and water drop(s). Well managed exposure and DoF...just beautiful!! Top marks!!

Warmest regards, Pamela

Fantastic! You folks have come up with another incredible, creative, masterpiece Anne, and Runar! I can't even figure out how you would have done this one, but it is lovely!

All the best,
Neil

An amazing image, Anne and Runar. I love the subtle swirl of the liquid and the richness of the tones. But you can't beat the perfection of the details in the drops and needles. I wish I understood the thought process behind 4 people rating this one below a 6. My enjoyment of your image is tainted by the system which allows ratings without explanations. However, I love your incredible talents always.

You've done it again. I'm impressed and a great admirer. The softness of the water, the reflections in the drops, the warm colours, everything is perfect.

Anne, Runar,

this is absolutely magic!

I love the small second drop, it adds so much depth.

Thank you for sharing! :-)

Warm regards, Stanislav
