RMNP Tree, nightmare

Is there anything I could do to make this photo mare scary? Or is it

scary? I think it's reaching to get me. BTW this was originally in

color and the current form resulted from too many steps to resurrect a

bad scan. Thanks for any comments.

Start with either the color or the B&W, and cut the brightness WAY back, then crank up the blue all the way. It will look moonlit. Try shooting color film with a 80A filter, and underexpose 1 or 2 stops. Shoot at high noon on a sunny day. That's how they used to shoot "night scenes" in movies.

Nice composition and subject.

I would have prefered this shot without the blur effect.

I like this photo. It made me keep looking at it for a long time. Very nice.
