Most of the time when we see a rainbow we are in the wrong place at

the wrong time. Eventually we will be in the right place at the right

time. When the sun is out and coming from behind you while it's raining

overhead you're chances of catching a rainbow become a lot better.

Steve, this rainbow image  is so strong I wonder if it did not generate a secondary bow.  The secondary is much further away, it's circle of curvature seeming to have the same center as the smaller one and the colors are much fainter and inverted in order from the primary bow.  Was there no such thing?

Fabulous image Steve! You were definitely in the right place, at the right time in this shot, and had the skills to capture the moment. Excellent work!

All the best,
Neil

Thanks you guys!

Jerry, I  sure wish I did see another one behind it.  Not strong enough though.  It faded just after a coupld of exposures.
