Last light before the storm

The last few seconds before a late afternoon storm covered the valley

at Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales. Any feedback or suggestions for

This is beautiful.  I like the dark sky, the sun rays, the tone.  Nice composition, nice movement in the background with the hills. I would hang this on my wall!  Lovely.

A difficult lighting situation, but you've managed it very well. Vibrant autumn colours, strong composition - what can you want more?

Thanks folks. Yes - the lighting conditions weren't easy and time was against me in what was a short-lived moment but I'm happy with the result.

A wonderful light with very beautiful warm tones.

A composition that invites you to explore the image, starting with the diagonal of the slope to the tallest trees. Closes the image there in the darkness of the clouds, and continues the journey through the hills back up the sun.

The great green meadow between two planes, and I like the detail of the rock in the corner opposite the sun. Balance weights and draw a diagonal interesting side toward the sun.
