I love the composition of all the elements in the frame

The eye is going from the huge building to the middle part of the image, bold square shapes, and finally, what's finishing the picture very well, the marks on the ground

Love the balance between light and shadow, which is the essence of any picture

It's just excellent.

It conveys mixed feelings of the present and of the past. I have seen that this is a landmark of Montréal.

But there is a hint of modernity.

And the foreground shades, tones and marks are very good.

I like such good results with film!

You do something I call "punk photo" and you did it very well...

... is't only in this photo that we can see that. Yours B&W are spontaneous, sensitives and very well done. They convey aggression, anger and urban desolation.

I would buy one of your records :-)

Thank you! This shot was a great surprise, the negative was perfect. It's really good to work with a negative that's well exposed. The dodging and burning in the darkroom during printing becomes a matter of artistic choices instead of it being about strenuous corrections. I am happy when people can see a pattern,  a theme, or else that connects my pictures together as my own. That is something I cannot see for myself.
