sidselto 0 Posted October 14, 2010 I find this very special. The horisontal line just across the big stone gives a good depth in the photo. Yes, magic in B&W, but I wonder how it might look in colours.Sidsel Link to comment
letterphotography 0 Posted October 14, 2010 Excellent. You capture it all with this image. The highlights on the center boulder creates a great focal point. The long exposure really gave this piece movement by allowing the viewer to follow the clouds across the sky.Amazing photograph, well done. With such a long exposure, I only wonder how you set your aperture? corbin 0 Posted October 15, 2010 You got everything right: exposure, composition, B&W tones...This is not just a travelscape, but a dreamscape. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 15, 2010 This is a wonderful image. The only suggestion I have is to remove the text at the bottom right of the image. It is basically white against black and very dark gray and detracts from the beauty of the image in my opinion. Link to comment
vbirke 0 Posted October 17, 2010 Awesome contrasts of shapes and textures, excellent b&w editing. Like your landscape photography of Down Under views (not only shots of The Twelve Apostels...) very much. How did you manage not to overexpose the image regarding around 200 seconds exposure time (applying a high aperture number, but the ND filter was not the strongest one, one can get, right - 8 stops would have required a much longer exposure maybe)? ffrank 0 Posted October 18, 2010 Very impressive.......I love the movement of the clouds draped over the dark stillness of the cliffs. The contrast are very well done. Link to comment
