If one were to listen to me as I waunder through Garden Centres,

(usually I am fortunate to have very few around me),they may think me a

bit 'daft', but I am not so shy as to be afraid to talk to 'the flowers'. I

recall when catching a glimpse of this one, I uttered "Well aren't you a

beauty?".......and suddenly I am this lovely creation's captive audience.

This one appeared as though it had been waiting 'just for

me'....thus "Listening For Your Footsteps".

(comments are always helpful, and visits extremely appreciated....tnks,

Gail)

A beautiful combination of photographic depth in the background separation and lovely watercolour effect in the flower. Wonderful depth of colour and vibrancy Gail

Very nicely done, I think the flower responded to your words and proudly showed it's best.

All MY best,   Bill

The frozen appearance of the work conveys the sense of stability and balance ( which already is apparent in light and color management ). Its a successful and effective artwork. Brovo.

This flower is sharp, placed off center for a nice composition but it is you processing that make the picture shine.

Magnificent!  What more can I say...

BTW... it's nice to know that I'm not the only one that sometimes 'talks' to inanimate objects.  And, it is a fact that some plants can sense, and respond to, other living things in their vicinity.

I appreciate your thoughts on this image and also thankyou for your continual support, it is most appreciated.  The image on it's own looked good, but when I tried the watercolor filter, it looked so nice.  Talk soon, Gail

So glad you enjoyed this image and the filter I used.  The colors in the DOF were so different, I found the outcome was most effective.  Thank you so much for your visit and for sharing your thoughts with me.  Sincerely, Gail

So glad you liked the processing in this image.  Poppy's are so delicate and beautiful. I especially like the White ones.  Their petals are so translucent. I'm amazed they are so hardy against most weather.  Many thanks again for your support. Sincerely, Gail
