I can't fathom your intent, but to me at least these are two non intersecting paths. The child is a subject of its own constrained momentum and any 'chase' is only an illusion. I appreciate your restraint in not having a 'color' butterfly.

P.S. One of the bonus points in commuting in Chennai MRTS is that many times (curious) butterflies will latch on to the speed of the train, fly alongside  for sometime and then drop away gracefully.

I love the graduated cloud  that accentuates the silhouetted child in motion, I like the idea behind the shot it shows great imagination and creativity. I would have preferred to see a profile shot of the butterfly, this would empathise more with the persuit theme of the image, but suffice to say, ingenious and orginal. I like it.
