At 1/640s, do you get that much blur panning, or is this software motion blur?

The answer is the photo is a composite IMHO.

Excellent, very dynamic picture, well focused. I have the same question as others have about the background. Is it from the same shot or is it a montage? I have doubts whether you could get such a motion blur with 1/640s. It is not to downplay the quality of your photo. It is about learning to know the potential and the limits of modern cameras. Karl
