Not shot too many buildings before, but I thought this twilight

exposure had an interesting mix of natural and artificial light. And

rather well exposed by my new digital toy I might add. I've played

around with perspective correcting this picture but (maybe because the

shot has some depth to it) the results did not look very natural to

me. Is the perspective a problem in this picture? Also, there's

actually a big square behind me. Should I just back up and take this

picture with a longer lens?

Why bother? This is a good shot and with the highlights problem solved you've got better results than possible with film alone. Perspective correction, I think, is better left where you have two adjacent facades severely sloping so that the whole building looks like the bottom of a triangle. There is nothing wrong with this shot, but to be perfectionist I'd have included the bottom right-hand corner of the window on the right, but then that would have offset the doors.
