I decide to give a shoot at artistic nude. I asked some friends to pose for

me and this is the result. Please let me know what you think of it. I accept

all critique.

This is a beautiful image of Caroline, Sebastien. Your lighting is very good and shows her curves very well. The pose works nicely as does her off camera gaze. The hair across the camera side of her face is a very lovely touch.

On the series, you did well for your fisrt nude session. I look forward to many more images in the future.

By far the better pose of Caroline

Really like the lighting and skin tones

I'm not really sure of her eye though is it open or closed?

Seems to be a dark spot ?

Excellent picture

So I'm not the only one who noticed that -- with her iris flushed against the outer corner of her eye, it looks unnatural and spooky...

Far better result than my first attempt I am sure.  I did not notice the eye thing until I read the reviews of others. I am sure you did not see the eye when you took the picture. My suggestion is to clone in some strands of hair to cover it - allow the viewer to imagine she is looking ahead.

What bothers me a little is the piece of unattached leg in the lower right corner.  Perhaps if you darkened it a bit it would be less conspicuous.

Excellent flow and texture, a very commendable effort, bravo. My only suggestion would be to stop down so as to get more of the body in sharp focus.  In fact, it works well for me also  framed half way aross the chest.

I agree with John.  This is a successful session. The lighting provides a nice soft skin texture, though the colour shots in the series are a bit strident (especially the drape). Not surprisingly your model does not seem very relaxed - I think you could probably make a future session even better by putting on some music, having a glsss of wine and trying a bigger variety of poses.

It's quite a daunting venture but a very exciting subject to try.  You may be interested to see my first series which I remember vividly from nearly 40 years ago!

Thank you all for your kind comments.

I didn't realize she was looking at me.  I agree this look weird.  I may have to Photoshop that, but I'm not a big fan of Photoshop manipulation.

I can't wait to try this again.  I was very relax during the photo shoot. I was prepared and I know exactly what I was shooting for.  Having a plan help me a lot.

At the very best, all I might have in mind are a few rough ideas to try, be it a pose or lighting, but other than that, I tend to improvise.  Sometimes it works; other times it doesn't...  Perhaps I'd benefit from some advanced planning, but guess I'm just not the 'prepare yourself ahead of time' type  :)
