Hi Jill, good to see you back. Great portrait which works really well in B&W. I like the smooth skin tones and the sharpness/detail of the jacket contrasting against the soft background. Regards, erik

The direct gaze dominates the portrait, very beautiful eyes. Exceptional in larger, grains of sand in his face and clothes are details of the definition of the image. Congratulations. Best wishes. Vicente

It was a great surprise to see a comment from you on one of my photos.  I'm really hoping that you're back in action.

I agree that this is a strong B&W.  Particularly, my view is drawn to the subject's eyes.  They are piercing and hypnotic.  I also like how her jacket is sitting casually on her shoulder, giving me the impression that she is of very strong character.

My best,

michael

Hi Jill, Quite a different kind of image to my stone wall. So dynamic. I love the feeling of strength hat comes from this.

Lovely black and white processing Jill.  Beautiful skintones, control of shadow and light; nearly everything 'good' has been said.  Great shot for your 'comeback'. As you can see, so many are pleased to have you amongst us again.  Most sincerely, Gail

Jill, nice to see you back in pn after a long time.I like the composition(slightly slanted head and shoulder),very good exposure,DOF and tonality of the image. The curiosity in her eyes justifies the caption.

The clarity of the eye contact is perfection, the uncontrived pose is natural, and the overall B & W effect is enchanting!

Great shot Jill and Welcome back!

Kind Regards

Alf

It is so awesome to see that you are back!

I detect a little "attitude" from the model (maybe that's why the name is "What?").  Great b/w composition.  Great capture.  Well done.  Regards, Engela
