badong_escubil 0 Posted March 30, 2003 Been shooting mostly with a 50mm lens but got a new 85mm for portraits / people photography that I seem to be inclined to do. Can you please add any comments to help me out not just with the lens but also an overall impression about this particular shot. THANK YOU and all comments are definitely welcome! Link to comment
maria_s. 1 Posted March 31, 2003 It looks good to me. Nice separation, perhaps I miss a few highlights but it works as it is. I like the way you framed her but her profile seems a tad too deep. She does not have to look at me but I would like to see 2/3 of her face. Good shot. Link to comment
julietray 0 Posted April 2, 2003 I think this might benefit from a tighter crop at the top (like midway between the top of her head and the top of the existing photo). Link to comment
sanjeewa_wickramarachi 0 Posted April 17, 2003 Wonderful lighting and detail. I think a horizontal orientation would have worked better. It would have reduced dead space above her and given her more room in the direction of her stare which would have been pleasing. Link to comment
foleydog 0 Posted April 20, 2003 I agree with the tighter crop comment. The top space doesn't really add anything. Wnat to see her only. Link to comment
