Pretty, Gail. Okay, I take photos from many places in my travels but I never seem to have time to learn digital alteration techniques that can add much drama to a simple shot like this. Maybe this will be my inspiration to experiment a little more.

My appreciation for your visit and enjoyment of  this composition.  Fuscia comes in varied colors but it is the most vibrant ones I love the best.  Thankyou John for taking your time to drop by.  Kind regards, Gail

This is a fantastic work. The treatment is topnotch and the composition renders the flower dramatic. Best regards, Gail.

This is just great Gail. The painterly effect is perfect, crisp but with a soft flow. The colours are a terrific blend. Everything came together in this image.

I'm with Dave on the card application. You know, with some of the images you have, there might be a stock agency that you could start using.

Good work.

All my best,  Bill

I'm pleased you chose a fuschia for this treatment, they are one of my favourite flowers. I like dangly upside down flowers, they appeal because....well because they are different I suppose.  As many have suggested this has a great painterly quality thats really bold and powerful. I have visions of seeing a set of three, similar in colour, different in composition, adorning the walls of a swish lawyers office. I can't suggest any improvements on this one as I think you have done an impeccable job.

Kind Regards

Alf

Wow, this is stunning!  As others have said the 'painting look' is very effective.  I like the level of gradient in the mauve surrounding the fuscia as it becomes lighter at the edges of the blossom giving the impression of radiating light.
