Sunrise-Mono Lake South Tufa

Nice composition and great timing. Love the bright colors at the waters edge. The bird helps also. A very well thought-out and executed image.

The light is very nice, and having the gull catching the first rays adds a nice element to the scene.  To my eyes, the water appears to be sloping down to the left.  Or is it just an undulating shoreline that is messing with me?

I'd agree with Stephen, the horizon appears to be tilted left.  It might be useful to try and brighten the light on the gull a little more to help emphasize the bird and make it jump out from its brighter background somewhat.  Good effort though, I can never get the gulls to pose for me there ;-)
