stephen_witschel 0 Posted March 28, 2003 This was my first time experimenting with a long exposure in shooting water (one of my favorite subjects). It was dusk and there was very little sunlight to work with, hence the blueness of this shot. Link to comment
jasonm 0 Posted March 28, 2003 Awesome composition! It stands out against all the other boring long shutter speed water photos out there (like mine). Speaking of which, check out my travel portfolio for some water photos I have done. The only thing I would improve here would be the branch in the center of the photo. It doesn't really fit. jim_hennessy 21 Posted March 28, 2003 Great job getting in the foreground (for your eye to lead into) with such a dramatic background. Great shot. I wish that branch wasn't stuck behind that rock though. Link to comment
paul_frank 0 Posted March 28, 2003 1) I think the color cast is way over the top and definitely detracts from the image. But that's just my opinion. 2) I like the branch, I would have left it in if given the choice. 3) I find the foreground distracting, actually, and it takes my eyes from what I like most, which is the background. Removal of the cast and cropping makes it more effective to me, but again, thats my opinion. The fall on the rock really is a magnificent subject. Link to comment

mark_rogers 2 Posted March 28, 2003 I like the blue, and I like the foreground leading into the background. The small rock sticking in from lower left seems to interrupt the flow to the back for me. Link to comment
