I really like this shot.  The paddler is well place to give perspective but not detract from the overall beauty of the scene. I like the pinks/purples surrounding the multishadowed peaks. I'm curious to know what your vantage point was here (a large boat, a restaurant on the water?)

Beautiful plunging perspective, from the boatman to the distant horizon. The soft hue of sunset, too, is very attractive.

Jerermy the picture was taken from a bridge - we were cycling and rather concerned to get off the chinese roads before it got too dark as lights are not common, hence the picture was in a bit of a rush with my compact rather than SLR.
