This is very attractive. A defiant pose, Great sharp eyes. Skint tones are perfect on face and forearm and hand.  The smoke is pretty sharp.  You have some light on the hair on his head but lower part of his beard is jet black with no detail. <P> You have CS3 you might try opening up the shadow slighly.  Thanks for sharing. He is not at all convinced of what you say! There's a nice, independent, perhaps sceptical look in his eyes. I like the detail and don't find the background, though noticeable, to be a distraction.
