approach was to take the slide and print it onto B&W photographic paper.

Thanks for your comments, Claude. I enjoy your own graphic work very much. While your idea would please some by having the diagonal corners encapsulating the image, I think it benefits more from a sense of freedom, by having one corner of the two not tightly cropped, and preferably the bottom one You might want to see also another cropping comment made on my image "Palpable", which I also believe cuts down the frame too much and doesn't let the subject breathe enough. I recognise that this is partly my subjective aesthetic.
