Thanks, Trisha. It was late in the day and I liked the shadows as well. The house at that time was abandoned and I think the cat belonged to the farm across the way. He seemed happy enough in his adopted home away from home (under the gallery) and it was a warm summer day. Our own cat, best one we ever had, came from the same farm a few years later and lived to 14. It was one of the first photos I printed in my new darkroom then (c1990).
