jriherd 2 Posted August 20, 2010 This is the second fireworks shot where I was trying to capture something a bit different from the usual burst in the sky firework's photo. I like how looking in at the heart of the explosion encapsulates the power of the fireworks burst in an ordered abstract. Link to comment
wood 1 Posted August 20, 2010 I thought at first this was a close up of a flower. I am impressed to discover it's fireworks and must say that it is one of the more unique fireworks photos I have seen on PN. Link to comment
sagacioustechie 0 Posted August 21, 2010 John, what a fantastically strange shot! I love the way the streaks of light seem to literally pop out and draw me in at the same time. This is fantastic work and a great crop. Keep it up and I hope to see more like this!Best regards,Stan. Link to comment

photographypanoptikon 0 Posted February 10, 2012 This picture evokes the most primordial of times, indeed the ceation of time, with what IMO resembled the Big Bang. It stands out from the other firework pictures which, pretty as they are, do not have the sense of the cosmos around them. Great shot. Link to comment
