This is another of the Pixel Bender-Oil Paint series. This weed vine

has elegantly beautiful flowers and leaves. From the response I've

received on these images, I take that they're not to popular or maybe

it's just the photographer. Anyway, I find the image and filter to be

quite beautiful.

This really is quite unique, and very, very beautiful.  I very much love the composition, but most of all I love the effect you've achieved with pixel-bending.  I think you are onto a whole new world of photographic art; and you are to be commended.  Very cool!  Cheers!  Chris

Indeed it's beautiful and indeed it reflects the relationship of the elegant trio - The Three Amigos, however, I'd like to think, in someway, that little bud at the bottom of the vine is actually me waiting to bloom on a photo shoot with the ever so delightful "Three Amigos".

They look like blown-glass flowers...very nice effect.  The exposure is very good and the vertical composition works well, you could even crop a bit more on the sides for a very narrow image.

This is new to me. Liked it a lot. I would have left out the top left leaf. For me the balance would have been better that way. nice work nonetheless.

Leo, am sure it has nothing to do with the photographer. as to the image its nice indeed, totally different than what you started out with. for me i consider these type of images more of computer enhancement than actual photographs. that does not mean i think any less of them, i just view them differently. with all one can do with a image today, the mind just boggles with what the future holds.  hope your well, and as always nice to see your name beneath a image.

First of all, let me say how pleased I am to hear from you and yes, I agree with you concerning the "computer enhanced" photograph. At heart, I'm am and always will be a "purest photographer" and strive to produce the best non computer enhanced image possible. However, I can't help but explore these new horizons. This particular filter, Pixel Bender by Adobe Labs is intriguing, in that it mimics some of the old masters' styles. I will not apply it to all my images in the future but I will keep it in my tool box just like HDR. I posted these images with the hope of educating others and expanding their knowledge base. I have never hoarded my knowledge and with my postings of images like these, with detailed instructions, hoped to educate and help others. However, I must say with the lack of interest from the viewers, I am inclined to just keep it all to myself. Again Roger, so nice to hear from you and thank you for the kind words,
