A glorious frosty morning in the Aigues Tortes NP in the Spanish

Pyrenees. The shot was taken from 2400m next to the Amiges hut.The snow

on the mountains is a dusting from an unusual Mid-September cold

spell.rating and feel free to comment, thanks

A very beautiful landscape! It was worth braving the cold weather having captured this spectacular shot.

Absolutely stunning with really nice depth to it.  Is the sky as seen, or did you push that a bit in post?...some might see it as a bit overdone if so.  Regardless, an outstanding image of a very rare moment.

Although I could not give you the 7 this shot deserves, you  have one magnificent composition here harry. Truly an inspiration for this novice.  Your skilled control over light and shadow, tonality, and wonderful detail have me in awe.  The reflections of the water are lovely. You take such care to make sure the detail in the foreground continues into the shot. The perspective is so good, I feel I could walk right into this 'piece of paradise'.  I truly wish I could.  Congratulations on your fine skills. 'You TEACH as you TAKE' so don't stop 'CLICK'n'....cheers to you, Gail

the mirroring in the lake shows that the sky is from an other shot, but the scenery is impressive and the composition is very good.

Outstanding image Harry, almost to good to be true. Beautiful scene. Like they say the right place at the right time. Take care.

Sincerely,

Holger

The original is so very good that I find it strange that you felt the need to turn it into what I call "landscape porn."  But that's just my personal opinion, others may enjoy the sexier interpretation.

this could be a screen shot for one of those fantasy movies.  As a natural photo it doesn't look very good, as a digital manipulation it certainly has an oomph.  Cheers, Micheal

I kind of like the color and gradient you have used here, but I would soften the edge and try to mimic the color in the water reflection. All the best.

Although the sky has no texture together with the col. of the mountains give the whole image a fairy land appearance.
