sthurston69 0 Posted August 14, 2010 Good use of black and white. Great contrast. The sky faded into mist (?) along with the smooth water and weathered wood give this a real mystical feel. The symmetry and perspective from directly under the pier give this a real sense of being there. Link to comment

ifti 1 Posted August 15, 2010 Great composition with vertical lines pillars and the overhead platform. The reflections in gentle flowing waters is good. It is nicely divided in thirds, Platform upper third, Pillars middle and reflection lower third. The distant lighter FG adds depth. Well done. P> I would love to see the same in early morning cool light and in late evening warm light both with shadows at a steep angle. Time of the day changing the mood with its light. Regards ifti.
