Mike, this is a serene landscape. There is a fantastic contrast between the rocky beach and the sky/ocean. In addition to its serene elements, this shot also has many dramatic features (particularly the sky and the great use of tone and color) which enhance the aesthetic appeal.

Is that building in the background the nuclear power station?

i like the technical quality and the idea of this photo. very good composition and light.

Wonderful elements, especially the clouds and sweeping beach.  My only nit is the greenish tinge in the sky in the lower right.
