I found this beautiful presentation of veratrum and wildflowers in the Mt Jefferson Wilderness area in Oregon.  July 2010.

Nikon D80, 50mm f/1.8 lens. 1.8 sec at f/16, ISO 100, polarizer.   Processed using Lightroom 3 and CS4.

Very beautiful, lovely tones.

Scott, this is one of my favorites of yours.  So sensual.  The underexposure works very well here.  I like the background fading into black and the yellow tips providing beautiful highlights.  The textures and shades of green are amazing.  And the touch of purple is perfect.  Regards, Jeff 

The way the greens make the purples pop really adds a nice touch. Love the way you can see the movement in the leaves. Congrats on a great capture.

The composition and lighting is spot on, excellent work.
