Grant, the attention to form is really what makes this picture work, but there are several other pleasing aesthetic qualities present here. I like how the entire image is composed of varying tones of blue, from light to dark, getting continuously darker as you go down.

You seem to have a great eye for form and composition. Keep up the fantastic work.

This is a good mid-day photograph, it captures what most people see and it does it well. Few people see sunsets and colorful hoodoos that create awe, but it is also nice to see a pleasing depiction of every day scenes. Nice job framing.
