I enjoy the composition and the lighting of the flower. :) this is a lovely photo. i couldn't have done it better. The only thing I have to point out is that you've added grain/noise...and it seems like floating...next time try a softlight mode for the noise layer or an overlay...at least try once....maybe you will like the effect.

Thank you very much for the comments.  However Andrei I printed this in a darkroom so I have not added any noise.  The only time I use the editing is for touch ups, get alot of dust etc when I scan.  But thank you anyway.

Your Rose has full tonal range and I really love the soft mid tone grays. Outstanding!

I have to say I generally don't get too interested in flower photos, but this is just beautiful - I can't imagine how it could be improved in any way. For me, this image has captured the real essence of the flower and this photo will look as stunning in a hundred years as it does now. Just beautiful-
