A scent of magic

I bought a new digital camera last weekend. In the past I have always

been photographing with the auto-button on. But with my new Canon

EOS 500D I decided to try photographing manually.

This is one of my first photos that I made with my new camera. I have

been busy reading a lot of tutorials so I hope I will improve my skills

soon.

The flowers "look" to the right, therefore the empty room should be on the right, not on the left Martijn!

Nice sharp image.  The composition is lacking a but but good for a first try.  It is so amazing to leave the Auto button behind.... wonderful freedom !!!!  Trust me, one day you will look back and wonder how you ever used the auto button for your photography.  Congrats, DMc
