Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 24, 2010 Just excellent work. Your skill as a photographer of the dance is evident here. The dance may be classical but your composition here is quite modern, I think. I like the nuanced color shifts very much. Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted July 26, 2010 Interesting composition and the excitement comes through. Interesting perspective as well. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 26, 2010 To all of you, I'm thankful for your feedback.Jack, to say the truth, I'm completely involved in the modern dance, so maybe even classical dance somehow has modern elements in my composition...thanks for writing it to me.;-)) Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 26, 2010 The perspective as is , is because we were seating on the 4th floor ...I'm glad you liked it.( the short edit/delete is complicating things....) Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted July 26, 2010 Pnina, superb composition, exposure and perspective. This image reminds of Degas paintings. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted July 27, 2010 Blurring my eyes, I can transform this easily into a string of actual swans swimming on a blue lake. Your foray into classicism is wonderful. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted July 27, 2010 Pnina, Swan Lake is one of my favorite ballets. I have seen it many times, the first time as a young child. So this brings back wonderful memories. Best wishes. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted July 28, 2010 I like the way the dancers fill this frame better than "Dancing with Odette". And your timing for placing the male dancer couldn't have been better. I realize you didn't have the advantage of being able to move around but your choice of when to trip the shutter was excellent. Everything within your control appears to have been done well. Great reward for your efforts. Best, LM. Link to comment
