Outstanding still life of great light and composition, wishing you all of the best.

Very well made image. I love the way the blue hydrangea picks up the faint blue of the bowl. Did you use natural light?

Thank you for the kind comments.  Yes, I used natural evening light.  It was about 6pm or so...

Good setup. Nice light. Fairly sharp. Very distracting BG. Try the same set up, same light and BG of just the glass panel with blurred out door. That will be lovely. Regards, ifti.<P> P.S: looked at your flower portfolio. Your post 'single' and 'Spring Bend'  are better examples of  enhancing BG.

This is beautiful.  I have great admiration for those, like you, who can make beautiful still life out of ordinary things.  Although the objects aren't moving around, creating the right image, such as this one, is much harder than it looks.  You've done a great job with the light and the color tones.

Classic, well composed, soft lighting...all come together to make a warm and pleasing image!  Nice work Jennifer.
