indywatchman 0 Posted March 18, 2003 I have an affinity for books. I like the way they look, I like the way they feel; they seduce and intrigue me, and lead me astray. They're like a magical mystical tour. This shape stopped me. It made me wonder what was printed on the pages. Is it Milton's Paradise Lost "...Nor Only Tears Rained At Their Eyes, But High Winds Worse Within Began To Rise." Is it Webster's definition of darkness, "Hard to understand or explain" or " Hidden" i.e. the printers secret expression. Certin things speak to me as flash through so many photos, and some get my attention. I'm not a major critic, but I know what I like. The light, the shape, the lines, all balance. I like it. I hope you get high ratings. Link to comment
bruce_jones3 0 Posted March 18, 2003 I like this. It's evocative of long nights spent bent over weighty tomes. I like the sparse light that just highlights enough. Link to comment
shawn_mertz 0 Posted March 19, 2003 I hope the books are as good as your Photographs. Very Elegant, these two photos have a lot of the same visual elements as good figure photos. Link to comment
