Garden Eel in Palau

A shy little garden eel in Palau, had to wait a while for him to

come out.

That is an amazing picture. Did not know that Palau was in Delaware though.

When I first saw these eels I was diving off St. Thomas VI. There were dozens of them comming out of their holes in a patch of white coral 'sand'.

 

This picture had several ratings without views. How can this be?

And I though Palau was in California. Guess I really can't type.

I've spent hours, not on the same dive but in total, trying to get a good shot of these guys. I've still not gotten a keeper. This is one of the best I've seen.

 

I was worried for a minute there. I'm heading to Palau next month. Nowhere on my itinerary does it mention Delaware. :)

great photo, but too much "white space" for me, I would recommend a vertical crop to better emphasize the eel. but thats JMO - Good work. Dave
