Beautiful colors and great detail in the foreground rocks. I have to say though that while I like the layout of the elements in the frame, there's some tension (for me at least) that I can't explain. Maybe that adds to the charm...

Nice placement of the compositional elements, leading the eye from the beautifully blurred water movement in the near foreground to the solid, dark driftwood in the middle ground. The cool foreground colors and the warm clouds colors add to the feeling of depth. (If you print this—and you should—you might try a version with the background colors toned down a few notches).

Thank you for your comments and critiques. Means a lot to me. Jim, I think,I need another monitor...

The colors and mood are great!  I also see the tension that Ryan mentions.  To me the driftwood looks like the mangled remains of one or more creatures.  Regards, Jeff

You are right about the driftwood. It looks bizarre.  I did also have difficulties for the exposure between the light red and dark, wet  wood colors. I did like the texture on the wood ( from another point of view ) therefore I would like to add it to the composition. It didn't give the same impact from this point of view as you emphasized. Thank you for your time to tell me about it.

Wow! A very superb work with breath taking scene, a masterclass tech, and artful process. Im impressed of this near to far crisp sharpness. Bravo.

Very pretty. My only concern is the dark line on the horizon - can it be the result of masking? I'd prefer a less harsh transition there. Foreground, light and color are exceptional - well done.

I saw the area you did point out during the process. It is the result of the dark, low clouds reflecting on the water. It is very soft in raw format but, after curve and sharpening adjustment, it became more visible. Maybe I had to soften it or leave it as in raw format.  Marsel, thank you for your time to look at my photo and add your thought.
