Ramene,

She is a beautiful girl. You have focused very well on her eyes. She has very good eye contact with the camera (viewer). There is something very sensual about her expression (slightly parted lips certainly helps). She has good catch lights. You have her turned at about a 45 degree angle to the camera. This causes her to look thin, feminine, graceful and elegant -- good job.

Her make-up looks good, but she could use a little darker mascara and eyeliner. It would frame her eyes better and help to make them stand out.

Your lighting is very good, but her face is a little too light. A slightly warmer tone would look nice, too.

Sleeveless clothing in head and shoulders portraits can cause problems. You want the viewer’s eyes to go to the subject's face without constantly jumping to her arm or shoulder. You do not want her face to compete with any other light areas in your photograph. Her upper arm is too light.

The background is somewhat neutral, but on her right side, the vertical line (door?) should be vertical.

You have cropped into her hair. This calls for a much tighter crop on the bottom. With your head and shoulders portrait, you want to crop above her head to have good top and bottom compositional balance.

Your right and left compositional balance is very good, but you could crop just a tad off the left side to place the tip of her nose in the vertical center of the photograph.

Nice shot,

Mark

Thank you yet again for taking the time to review my photo.  I am striving for the perfect shot...and you're helping me get there.

Stunning model. I like sleeveless tops for portraits myself, but I recognize it is against conventional practise. Image is posted in Adobe RGB--on an un-color-managed browser (IE8), this makes it look washed out. Also needs a bit of noise reduction and selective sharpening, IMO.
