sobie 0 Posted July 5, 2010 On a recent camping trip, I was given three days of rain and clouds.Dampened by the dreary weather, I found it difficult to photograph thenormally beautiful shoreline. This shot has the most detail in theclouds I had seen the entire trip. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Link to comment
alfbailey 4 Posted July 5, 2010 Nothing worse than a grey expressionless blanket sky, but you have done well getting at least some colour and and good foreground detail. I can see there is a breeze there from the ripples on the water, so my suggestion is that maybe a 10 stop filter might have give you a long exposure and maybe an image with silky smooth water and maybe some movement in the cloud. But I'm the first to admit it's all about getting the right conditions.Kind RegardsAlf Link to comment

melloncollie 0 Posted July 19, 2010 i personally like this kind of heavy clouds and the soft light what it causes. these weather conditions are not that bad in my point of view. and indeed, those colors added some plus. technically perfect shot, nice tones and details. but its underrated i think, it is a good photo, deserve at least a 5/5.
