kiwirob 0 Posted July 2, 2010 hi. i think the bottom 2 are made stronger by being in the collection, but the top one could stand alone quite nicely and works on a number of different levels whilst leaving the viewer to descide what is implied. very nice. Link to comment
je.barreto1 0 Posted July 2, 2010 The "spirit" of a big city is well presented here. "Meaningful" is a word used in the comments to your folio. I use the same word to "describe" this image. B/w is an excellent choice for this "somehow monstrous" image. Very good!I walk my soul on the high lands forgotten by people, but filled with everything!... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 2, 2010 Putting these pictures together has something to do with the accidentals. The quad tile pattern top right has something to do with the basketweave pattern top left, the stripes of the sidewalk top right repeat the stripes bottom left with an interesting change of perspective, and the curved line between pictures middle left creates a found line with the black-and-white facade of the building bottom left. The photo bottom right is not quite jibing--all girls, different key, and eye contact dispels the feeling of big-city anonymity established in the other photos. Link to comment
