Niki no filter, there was frost on the grass and I added some saturation to the red channel during black and white conversion.

This is simply superb.  The background trees add so much (especially because they are obscured by fog), and the central tree has a wonderful form.  I'm captured by this photo because the main element is so simple, yet the secondary elements are so complex and so perfectly configured.  This is another addition to my favorites folder.
