I like the atmosphere, too! What time of day was it? Nice work. The archways add wonderful foreground. My eyes are drawn through them, though, into the countryside.

Seems kinda dark in most places. The overall contrast does something cool, though: starting from the left, the temperate contrast kicks up until the picture almost washes out in highlights and shadows.

Very nice composition. The details and DOF are excellent. I agree with the previous comment about the strong effect of changing tones of the sky. The shades work well for me. However, I feel that the photo could benefit if the very bottom of the left column were not cropped off.

Lovely, rich sunset shot. Great exposure - I think some burning out of the sky in the right of the shot was unavoidable and preferable to losing shadow detail in the pillar

Shame the background has less highlight/interest. BTW-Last time I tried to load Fuji Velvita in my Digital SLR Microdrive I couldn't cose the back :-)

To all for the comments. I've attempted to "fix" the sky on the right but the results are not realistic....need to work on my PS literacy!

The archway we are directly facing on the right should not be right up against the image frame. We should see a portion of the wall to allow the arch to establish itself in the photo more completely. I agree that the bottom of the left post should not be cut off for a similar reason. Nice photograph!

Really nice-I love the composition and light.I just needed something extra in the archway on the right. If I was to cheat, I'd add a silohetted figure looking the other direction.
